With it, Doom caught the last shattered pieces of the dying multiverse, and crushed them into a single planet called Battleworld. He crowned himself God Emperor, and for eight years, every living soul worshipped him without question. He even took Reed Richards' wife as his own queen, and raised Reed's children as if they were his.

But hidden among his subjects were the final survivors of the world that came before, and one of them was Reed Richards himself. Eventually, the two men who had hated each other their entire lives came face to face. Doom told Reed that he had saved millions, while Reed could not even save his own family. Reed answered that Doom had saved no one. He had simply stolen a broken world and refused to let go of it. Furious, Doom snapped his fingers to wipe Reed from existence.

Reed and his family give up being super heroes completely, and instead begin traveling reality itself, mapping and even creating brand new universes from nothing. And Doom, the man who once wanted to own all of existence, is handed back the one thing he hated most, his own scarred face. But this time, when he looks at it, he smiles. Because the villain who spent his whole life terrified of losing everything has finally learned to let it all go.
