On October 2, 2016, I flew a DJI Phantom 4 drone in Cabo San Lucas. I took off from the balcony of our condo in tower 2 at Copala. Flew out over the Copala development, over the new and old lighthouses, then turned eastward to overfly several holes of the golf course, then down the coast to the beachfront clubhouse and restaurant. Next, I flew over what will be the Coronado development before flying back over Copala to the condominium towers.
It was a windy day, and I had to put the drone in sport mode (up to 45mph) in order to make good headway against the ocean breezes and wind gusts. To attain these speeds, the drone leans forward, and the props often show up in the video as a result. You may notice the drone lurching occasionally in reaction to the wind gusts.
It was a beautiful day, very typical of Cabo!
