In this "I ordered..." series, I am going to document my journey to convince or encourage customers to tip when using Uber Eats, DoorDash, and SkipTheDishes.
This series aims not only to educate drivers about what goes on when customers order food on all these gig apps, but I also hope I can encourage customers to add a tip every time they order in this current economic hardship.
I plan to order a variety of food items such as pasta, curry, soup noodles, fried chicken, steak, and desserts and tip at various price points (even a $0 tip) to find out if the amount of tip does affect the speed at which my food gets delivered and the integrity of my meal as well.
Ultimately, I want both customers and drivers to win.
