Playing all four parts of this quartet on my bass trombone was a rewarding challenge, pushing the boundaries of my range and the versatility of the instrument.
But beyond the technicality, this song holds a piece of my heart. It has been ‘our song’ throughout the 47 years I’ve been married to my wonderful wife, Aaltje.
Dedicated to her and that beautiful smile that still lights up my world every day.
