"Yggdrasil" (The Ash of the World) is the second track of Echoes of Yggdrasil, a musical saga of the Norse Gods.

Following the creation of the world in "Völuspá," this track focuses on Yggdrasil, the immense Ash tree that holds the nine realms together. It is constantly under siege—gnawed by the dragon Nidhogg from below and eaten by stags from above. Yet, it endures. This is an aggressive Viking war chant about resilience, defiance, and standing tall when the world tries to tear you down.
