The Resurrection and Theology with Dr. Ross Hastings: A Biblical Exploration

Описание: Ross Hastings is Professor of Theology at Regent College and holds PhDs in both theology and chemistry. In this interview we cover the historical basis for the resurrection of Christ, the resurrection's relationship to atonement (especially recapitulation and Christus Victor), regeneration, justification, and the personal history of Jesus. We look at progressive sanctification, union with Christ, theosis, and mission/vocation, all in light of the resurrection. Hastings comments on the future of Christians after death, Christ as Great High Priest, worship, and preaching in regard to the resurrection. Finally, we examine the implications of the resurrection for creation, ethics, and the second coming.
