We leave the incredible Manning Gorge behind and hit the road towards Drysdale Station, exploring the stunning Drysdale River along the way. After a quick refuel and recharging our tanks, we prepare for one of the most extreme 4WD adventures in Australia: a 400km round trip to Kalumburu, a remote Aboriginal village at the highest point in WA.

This journey is pure outback insanity:
💥 Ungraded tracks and massive washed-out sections—pushing our rigs to the limit before the road even opens to the public.
🏕️ Helping out the caretaker at McGowan Island Campground—getting a rare chance to explore a part of the Kimberley few ever see.

And then… we find Honeymoon Beach. This place is next-level paradise: red cliffs, turquoise waters, total isolation—it’s out of this world.

Once we’ve soaked in all the magic, we head back south past Drysdale Station, ready to tackle the second half of the legendary Gibb River Road—with even more insane gorges, rivers, and remote tracks waiting for us.
