How do we supercharge UK indie family films and achieve success with bold new funding, policy and distribution models, and bold new stories and storytellers?
Globally, Kids + Family TV is experiencing incredible challenges, and independent producers are looking at film as an alternative.
This session looks at independent film in the children’s and family sector and asks the questions: Where are we? Where do we want to go? How do we get there?
A panel of experts look at the state of the Indie film sector; current policy; the distributors, exhibitors and audience, before we get to financing and producing the content. They will consider what “Good/Great” would look like and make suggestions as to how to go about achieving that. Ideas everyone can actively take forward to transform the sector.
