Описание: In this video, we’ll explore an introduction to biochemistry, a branch of biology that examines the chemical reactions occurring within cells. Biochemistry is essential for understanding metabolism, which includes both catabolism (breaking down molecules) and anabolism (building complex molecules). Key processes like photosynthesis are central, where six molecules of carbon dioxide and twelve molecules of water, driven by light energy, produce glucose and six molecules of oxygen. We’ll also look at respiration, a process that releases energy in the form of ATP, vital for cellular functions. These complex chemical reactions are fundamental to life, enabling cells to produce and use the molecules they need to survive.
