Walking in Knaresborough - A Town to Take Your Breath Away

Описание: We were staying overnight in Knaresborough and arrived under the cover of darkness. It wasn't until the morning when we went for a walk and saw what a magnificent town it was. This is quite easily the surprise of the year for me. It wouldn't have been if I had had my head in a guide book as this picture postcard bridge is quite a well-known view for visitors to England. We were a little unlucky as we did not have time to explore the place adequately. Mondays are often not the best days to visit attractions. Mother Shipton's Cave was closed off and the castle was closed because of it being Monday. But even so, we could have happily spent a lot more time there.

I was not there to make a film but I had my camera tucked away in my pocket and filmed these short views of the place. Especially beautiful with the Autumn colours, Knaresborough deserves a visit. The area closest to the river is especially beautiful.
