Описание: The Cubs selected Ethan Conrad with the 17th overall pick in the first round of the 2025 MLB draft.
Conrad is an outfielder from Wake Forest stands at 6-foot-3 and is 220 pounds. He only played half of a season in the ACC because of shoulder surgery but was excellent in the Cape Cod League and at Marist. He is a known as a well-rounded prospect that can hit for for power, make contact and run.
Conrad batted slashed .389/.467/.704 for Marist in 2024, with 13 triples to go along with nine homers and 52 RBI. The Cubs should be able to easily sign Conrad for under slot allowing them to spend more down the draft.
