During late February and early March 2022, I remodeled the “downtown” area of the layout. There are new buildings from Woodland Scenics, including The Depot, Corner Emporium, and Records and Recruitment. All buildings came fully assembled with compatibility for the JustPlug lighting system from Woodland Scenics. Additionally, I added new paved roads to the downtown area, and I attempted to weather a few pieces of rolling stock and a Lionel LionChief steam engine (Santa Fe No. 729).
Accompanied by some jazz piano, this is a compilation of photos from the remodel, as well as clips from various train running sessions after the new buildings were installed. Enjoy, and thank you for watching!
