Concurrency Without Pain in Pure Java

Fortunately, there are other approaches to concurrency and you can reach out to those directly from your Java code. This presentation discusses actor-based concurrency and software transaction memory. It then develops examples with Akka and compares the power of these approaches with the traditional approach.
