Bob Barker was an American television personality who hosted the longest-running game show in North American television history, The Price Is Right, from 1972 to 2007. He also hosted Truth or Consequences from 1956 to 1975, and the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants from 1967 to 1987. He was known for his charismatic and witty style, his signature sign-off, "Have your pets spayed or neutered", and his advocacy for animal rights. He won 19 Emmy Awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award for Daytime Television in 1999.
