Directional vs Non-Directional Option Trading Strategies

Описание: In option trading, there are ways to profit from directional moves. E.g. speculating on the stock going up and placing a trade that targets that move. There are also a variety of ways to profit from a non-directional move. E.g. building a trade that profits from a sideways move in the stock. Or, being confident about which direction the stock will NOT go.

It is very important to make sure you have analyzed the scenario fully. There are tools at brokers such as Thinkorswim (TDAmeritrade) or Interactive Brokers (TWS) that will allow you with just a simple click of the mouse to see those probabilities in real-time!
