Working Apartment Fire - Vancouver BC

Wednesday February 14th 2018 - Vancouver Fire Crews responded to an Apartment complex on Graveley St shortly after 12:00PM. When crews arrived on scene they had no visible signs of smoke and fire from the outside of the structure. When Crews made entry they found a fire in the washroom in one of the suites. A Working Fire was requested to bring an extra set of firefighters and special resources to the scene. Crews did a quick knockdown on the fire, and checked for extension, but the fire did not spread and was contained only to the washroom. All other units except for Engine 9, Engine 1, & Medic 9 were released from the scene. The cause of the fire is unknown and no injuries were reported. Excellent work done by Vancouver Firefighters for their quick response and knocking down the fire before it spreaded. Thank you Firefighters, Police Officers, Paramedics as well all other first responders out there for what they do to save lives and protect all of us from harms way!. God Bless :).
