इसी बीच बीजेपी के कद्दावर नेता और पाटन क्षेत्र के प्रभावशाली सांसद बृजभूषण शरण सिंह ने यूजीसी कानून के खिलाफ आर-पार का ऐलान कर दिया है।
अपने पैतृक गांव में हाथ में डंडा और दो कुत्तों के साथ चौपाल लगाकर बृजभूषण शरण सिंह ने इस एक्ट को सनातन और देश विरोधी बताया।
उन्होंने कहा कि यह कानून समाज को बांटने वाला है और किसी भी कीमत पर लागू नहीं होने दिया जाएगा।
वहीं उनके सांसद बेटे करण भूषण सिंह ने भी यूजीसी नियमों को लेकर सफाई देते हुए कहा कि उन्होंने इस कानून की फाइल पर कोई साइन नहीं किया है और वे समाज के साथ खड़े हैं।
यूजीसी नियमों पर सियासी हलचल तेज हो गई है और बीजेपी के भीतर भी असंतोष खुलकर सामने आने लगा है।
