Описание: Join ACHS President Dorene Petersen as she harvests and discusses (Vitex agnus-castus) or Chaste tree from the American College of Healthcare Sciences' botanical teaching garden. Vitex is a perennial shrub and has a range of traditional uses in herbal medicine. We harvest the seed in order to distill the essential oil. Vitex is quite a complex oil and contains a number of different constituents, including diterpene which is thought to give it the medicinal activity.
