Along with the Sailrite Fabricator, I recently added the newer Sailrite Leatherwork Machine to my shop, and it has been a wonderful addition. The addition of the speed reducer allows for even slower controlled stitches without compromising power. I have no problems stitching through 3 layers of 3oz Italian vegetable tanned leather here .
