It’s crazy to think that Lemonhead.LA is still run by just five people. But that’s exactly how we do it.

In 2015, our Founder & CEO, Megan Dugan, set out to create high-impact, avant-garde makeup that didn’t exist—so she made it herself. She blended good-for-skin ingredients with ultra-reflective glitter, inventing the first ultra-luxe glitter balms. As demand grew, she started fulfilling pro makeup orders and building a website to make Lemonhead.LA accessible to everyone.

Then came Eden Mills, who joined the brand to help with production, expanding the brand, and earning the (very fitting) title of "Human Disco Ball."

Now, in 2025, Lemonhead.LA is a women-owned, women-run luxury makeup brand with a small but powerful team:

💖 Aryy & Koah, Production Dream Team — Hand-blending, hand-filling, and assembling every jar & palette.
💖 Makayla Gamble, Content Coordinator — Overseeing social media, photography, content creation.
💖 Eden, our Brand Manager — Managing logistics, retailers, collabs, events, AND customer service. (If you’ve messaged us, there’s a 90% chance you’ve talked to her!)
💖 Megan, our CEO — Running finances, marketing, social media, events, being an amazing mama—you name it.
