Welcome back to Onwards & Upwards. In this video we go on a grand hike up to a sublime lake and catch some rainbow trout. This is not a multi-day hike, so I did not cook the fish up in the video, but I did see a whole bunch of other wildlife in this jam-packed day-hike. In this video I came across a garter snake, some beautiful loons, and a grizzly Bear/brown bear. A lot of the video is just soaking in the beauty of the lake, it is slightly longer video so that those who who want a truer and richer experience, and I hope that you feel like you were really out there up in the Mountains.

Monashee Provincial Park in British Columbia is a supreme place, but the wilderness is in need of protection--the regions surrounding Monashee Provincial Park hold old-growth forests that are being logged for the first time at a stunning rate. Several regions need protection, and unfortunately the majority of land surrounding the park that is in need of protection is owned through licences held by mining and timber companies.
