Usha Vance will travel to Greenland this week amid U.S. president Donald Trump’s repeated threats to annex the autonomous territory.
But the visit by the second lady and officials in the Trump administration is being slammed by local officials, with the outgoing PM calling the move a “provocation” and “highly aggressive.”
Vance will be accompanied by Trump’s national security adviser Mike Waltz and Energy Secretary Chris Wright.
