In this video I share how to go about using memory techniques to remember new words from the dictionary and their meaning. We also look at how after using mnemonics to remember we can ensure we used spaced repetition to move our new words into to long term memory. I use a program called Anki for this. This technique helps to avoid rote learning and speed up how quickly you can learn.
This can be handy if you are studying for an exam, are dyslexic or just want to increase your vocabulary.
