Welcome to my channel, I'm Jeanette Yoffe, a licensed psychotherapist helping make sense of foster care and adoption. We are interconnected, interactive, and forming interrelationships which is a lifelong process of healing!

My goal is to provide videos that help us understand what is BEST PRACTICE in MENTAL HEALTH in ADOPTION and FOSTER CARE.

I was raised in foster care for 6 ½ years in New York and then ADOPTED at age 7 1/2 and my work comes from my own experience of unmet mental health needs, as well as no-one understanding and acknowledging my grief and loss as a child.
