Join us for an unforgettable Day 1 on Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands), Iceland!
We began our journey with a scenic 2-hour drive from Njarðvík to Landeyjahöfn, where we boarded the ferry with our Ford Expedition and set off across the sea to this stunning volcanic island.
Once we arrived, we settled into a cozy glamping lodge nestled in nature. The kids took charge of dinner—grilling hamburgers and preparing fresh fruit and veggies. After exploring the campsite, we treated ourselves to ice cream and took a scenic drive up to the island’s volcano. There, we captured some epic photos and explored the lava fields together.
We wrapped up the evening with s’mores and stories on the deck, under the soft Icelandic summer sky.
