IT'S ALL LEGAL: IT'S HIM OR ME.

This is the ninth sermon given on Sabbath divine service on 6/16/2012 at 11 AM. The sermon is entitled "IT'S HIM OR ME".
To answer the question from a lawyer "Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?", Jesus responded with the question "What is written in the law? How readest thou? Luke 10:25,26. The lawyer summarized the law into two groups. Vertical love to God and horizontal love to man. There is no commandment to love thyself. Sin is opposite of the Ten Commandments. It starts with self-love. The principle of sin is 'I' (Isa 14:13, 14). Love does not seek her own (1Cor 13:5). Self is eventual death. The principle of life is serving others. In the battle of life it's always a choice between 'him' and 'me'. In the garden of Gethsemane, under severe agony, Jesus chose Father's will and death instead of His own will. Jesus stayed on the cross because he died to self in the garden of Gethsemane. Answer to self is God's law because the law comes out of the heart of God. Principle of love to God and love to fellow man is the law of God. It's 'him' or 'me'. Do not let self to destroy you. If necessary God will send angels from haven to help us withstand temptation if we chose against self.
