Learn how to make Authentic Korean Kimchi with my Mammy and me! From harvesting the napa cabbage to a finished jar of fermented, tasty goodness.. this time together was really a Farm to Table experience. Enjoy!
Mammy's Kimchi ingredients:
Napa Cabbage
Salt
Green onion
White onion
Garlic (powders are ok)
White Sugar
Gochugaru pepper flakes
Cayenne pepper flakes
Fish sauce
-Chop cabbage
-Salt liberally and sit overnight
-Drain off liquid and rinse until saltiness is right
-Add other ingredients to taste and mix, mix, mix
-Pack jars and let sit until fermented to your liking
*beware.. jars may build up pressure, so "burp" the lids once a day. Liquid may also overflow, so be prepared!*
