A different video here but recently I was messing around and made it my goal to try and achieve percussive , drum machine type sounds using the Korg minilogue. I've heard lots of people say that you can't really design a kick sound on the minilogue and even though the kick i'm demonstrating isn't exactly perfect, it is definitely useable after some editing.
This is part one of a 3 part series, in the next section we will take a look at how I designed the snare and then part 3 we will take a look at the hi hats.
