米国Harvard大教授であり、「AI for Social Good」の世界的権威であるMilind Tambe氏を招き、ソニーグループ株式会社執行役専務兼CTO 北野が熱く語ります。
Tambe教授から活動紹介につづき、北野とのパネルセッションにおいて、AIが社会的課題に対していかに貢献し得るかといった点や、そういった課題に企業はどのように向き合い本来の役割を果たすべきなのかといったことについて、二人の多様な経験が絡み合い、白熱した議論が繰り広げられます。

Outline
We have invited Professor Milind Tambe, Gordon McKay Professor of Computer Science and Director of Center for Research in Computation and Society at Harvard University, who is a world authority on AI for social impact, to discuss how AI can help address society's important issues, with Dr. Kitano, Sony Group's Chief Technology Officer.

The session begins with an overview of Professor Tambe's recent activities in public health, particularly in maternal and child healthcare in India, in partnership with a non-profit organization, ARMMAN. It is followed by a dialog between Tambe and Kitano, who engage in a passionate discussion on how AI can contribute to solving social issues, how corporations can contribute, and how meaningful partnerships can be built.
