El castillo de Jimena situado en el término municipal de Jimena de la Frontera (Provincia de Cádiz, España) es una construcción árabe del Siglo VIII en la que posteriormente se realizan obras en el Siglo XV.
El castillo fue tomado por los jerezanos en 1430, reconquistado por los granadinos en 1451 y definitivamente integrado a la Corona en 1456.
Jimena's castle placed in Jimena de la Frontera's municipal area (Province of Cadiz, Spain) is an Arabic construction of the 8th century in which later works are realized in the 15th century. The castle was taken by the natives of Jerez de la Frontera in 1430 reconquered by the natives of Granada in 1451 and definitively integrated to the Crown in 1456.
