Loopback is a useful function to record computer audio, like a media player or internet video, into your DAW.

We are using Pro Tools for this video, but you can do this with any DAW (Reaper, Cubase, FL Studio, Studio One, etc...)

This can also be very useful for podcasters who need to record the audio of a Skype call, for example, or interview into their DAW.

Loopback is also capable of sending DAW audio out into a screen capture or streaming app like OBS Studio or Streamlabs. If you want to do that, watch this video
