In this 2 part (maybe 3 part) series, I'm taking the BAC Apprentice trombone to my rehearsals to see how it performs in various settings.
This is a big band called Jazz for Jesus (we don't play any Jesus music) AKA the Dave Smith Big Band. I play 2nd chair in this group.
I'm using my Jettone Urbie Green model M mouthpiece I bought from Keith Mayo. It works real nice on this trombone. I get a round tone and great response. The closest equivalent might be a Bach 11C.
