Описание: ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ଜାଲରେ କଟକ ଖଣି ବିଭାଗ ଉପ-ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ଦେବବ୍ରତ ମହାନ୍ତି। କୋଇଲା ଡିପୋ ଚଳାଇବା ପାଇଁ ୩୦ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା ଲାଞ୍ଚ ନେଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ଧରାପଡ଼ିଲେ। କୋଇଲା ପରିବହନ ଅନୁମତି ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବସାୟୀଙ୍କୁ ମାଗିଥିଲେ ଲାଞ୍ଚ। ବ୍ୟବସାୟୀଙ୍କ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କ୍ରମେ ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ବିଛାଯାଇଥିଲା ସ୍ପେଶାଲ ଟ୍ରାପ୍। ଦେବବ୍ରତଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ ଓ ବାସଭବନ ସମେତ ୩ଟି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଏକକାଳୀନ ଚଢ଼ାଉ ଜାରି।

Debabrata Mohanty, Deputy Director of the Mining Department in Cuttack, was caught in a vigilance trap. He was caught accepting a bribe of 30,000 rupees to operate a coal depot. He had demanded a bribe from a businessman for obtaining coal transport permission. Following the businessman’s complaint, a special trap was laid by the vigilance. Simultaneous raids were conducted at three locations, including Debabrata’s office and residence.
