Today’s video is divided into 5 segments. In the first segment we will cover some nice budget friendly street food options for breakfast near the main Velankanni Shrine.Later on we will have some nice breakfast at a restaurant. Soon after that I will take you’ll to experience the live fishing at Velankanni.

Major fishing that you see in this place happens for commercial purposes and the fresh catch of the day is then transported to all the local restaurants and the nearest fish market of Velankanni.

Some of the fishing here is done by the locals and the regular tourists who collect the fish and cook in their kitchen. So one best things about Velankanni is that most of the hotels and lodge will offer you a common kitchen facility.
