Join me on my journey to finding the perfect 7 string guitar with the Ibanez RGD71ALPA. Watch as I explore the features and sound of this incredible instrument! Great tone and easy to play. Today I want to tell you about why I decided to buy this guitar as well as how I got it at a great discount. It's great for metal and low tunings, but with the coil tap switch you can get some really great tones for your cleans as well. I'll give you a rundown of the features as well.
For the sound demo I had the Ibanez RGD71ALPA running into My Horizon Precision Drive, Focusrite 4i4 and then into the Neural DSP Gojira plugin. For the clean channel, I bypassed the Precision Drive.
