Описание: Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said that he was not making personal allegations but quoting the perspective of former Army Chief General M.M. Naravane from an unpublished book. Gandhi alleged that the book is being prevented from publication because it contains references to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. He questioned why the government is afraid of the former Army Chief’s views, stating that the book would reveal how the Army was let down by the country’s political leadership. Rahul Gandhi further claimed that the truth about the government’s response to Chinese aggression would come out if these perspectives were allowed to be discussed in Parliament.
