🍗🔥 Crispy Chilli Chicken – Better Than Takeout!
Today we’re making crispy Chilli Chicken that’s juicy inside, crispy outside, and coated in a bold, spicy sauce.
Perfect for lunch, dinner, or a party-style meal — easy, fast, and absolutely delicious!

🧾 Ingredients (Serves 2–3)
🐔 For the Chicken Marinade
Boneless chicken – 400 g
Salt – 1 tsp
White chili powder – ½ tsp
All-purpose flour (maida) – 1 tbsp
Corn flour – 2 tbsp
Egg – 1
Dark soy sauce – ½ tsp
Ginger & garlic paste – 1 tsp

🍳 For Frying
Oil – as needed
👉 Fry on medium flame for 6–7 minutes,
👉 Fry each side 2–3 minutes until golden & crispy.

🌶 For Final Toss (Sauce)
Oil – 1½ tbsp
Garlic (chopped) – 1 tbsp
Ginger (chopped) – 1 tsp
Green chilies (chopped) – 3–4
Onion (sliced) – 1 medium
Capsicum / Bell pepper – 1 large
🥣 Sauces & Liquids
Vinegar – 1 tbsp
Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
Ketchup – 2 tbsp
Hot sauce – 1½ tsp
Dark soy sauce – ½ tsp
Water – 1 cup
🌿 Garnish
Fresh coriander (cilantro) or spring onion greens

👣 Step-by-Step Instructions
1️⃣ Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, add chicken, salt, white chili powder, maida, corn flour, egg, dark soy sauce, and ginger-garlic paste.
Mix well until the chicken is evenly coated. Rest for 10 minutes.

2️⃣ Fry the Chicken
Heat oil on medium flame.
Fry the chicken pieces for 6–7 minutes, turning each side for 2–3 minutes, until crispy and golden.
Remove and set aside.

3️⃣ Prepare the Sauce Base
In a pan, heat 1½ tbsp oil.
Add chopped garlic, ginger, and green chilies.
Stir-fry on medium-high flame for a few seconds.

4️⃣ Add Vegetables
Add sliced onion and capsicum.
Stir-fry on high flame for 1 minute — keep them crunchy.

5️⃣ Add Sauces
Add vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, hot sauce, dark soy sauce, and water.
Mix well and let it simmer for 1–2 minutes.

6️⃣ Final Toss
Add the fried chicken to the sauce.
Toss well on high heat until everything is nicely coated.

7️⃣ Garnish & Serve
Garnish with fresh coriander or spring onion greens.
