Carlos Dominguez, the man accused of two killing people and injuring a third in a series of stabbings in Davis, was found not guilty of first-degree murder of David Breaux and Karim Najm. Jurors returned to the courtroom Friday and told the judge they reached a unanimous verdict on first-degree murder, but could not agree on other counts of second-degree murder. As such, the judge declared a mistrial on the charges of second-degree murder and a return to court is expected on July 24. Dominguez is expected to stay in custody without bail.
