Описание: On Sunday, November 13, 2022, music CPA firm Friedman, Kannenberg & Company, P.C. and their client, iconic microphone manufacturer Telefunken Elektroakustik, co-sponsored their 2nd annual musical fundraiser weekend honoring legendary drummer Bernard "Pretty" Purdie in support of the Asperger/Autism Network.

The event included a live interview of Bernard by renown YouTube musician and educator, Rick Beato, and ended with a live musical performance of Bernard playing drums on eight iconic tunes from his 60+ year drumming career. The band consisted of Bernard on drums, Alan Friedman on guitar, Jeff "JB" Batter on keyboards, Jay Wiggin & Ron Bienstock on bass, Bill Holloman on sax, and Robbie LaBlanc, Thomas Claxton, Penny Knight & Tony Genevive on vocals.

Adding to the excitement of the event was the unveiling of a tribute movie consisting of 57 short videos of accolades to Bernard from his industry peers and friends. Never has such an iconic list of American music drumming luminaries been assembled...until now. This is that movie tribute to Bernard "Pretty" Purdie, now shared with you, the general public.

A special thanks to drummer Jonathan Mover for helping me reach a few of those legendary drummers I otherwise would have woefully left out. And a heartfelt "congrats" to Bernard for a lifetime achievement and job well done.!
