Dedicated to the wonderful souls I met in London 1972-1974.

Anna Karenina Swenson, who perished in an auto accicent a few year after we met. Laura Niren Luxemborg, a close life long friend, and Sid and Sadie Margo, who became my family in London. Sid was my "fixer", the contractor who hired my musicians for recording sessions

My Conversations with Catharina Enderlein , put me in touch with long supressied feelings and memories which had faded and have once again come into full bloom, as described below.

An Incurable Romantic

I’m an incurable romantic what does that really mean?
Do I fall in love too easily? No, I mostly dream.
I’ve had my disappointments, on many, many a day,
Breaking my heart in pieces, in every imaginable way.

Yet, I’ve experienced romance and love for short periods of time,
But not strong enough to affect a cure, for this romantic soul of mine.

Eventually, I shut the door to matters of the heart.
Mostly to protect myself, not willing to even start
An exploration that might satisfy my eternal longing for the soul,
Who’s love would transform my life, the soul-mate, who’d make me whole.

Along comes Catharina, a spectacular young woman
Who decides she needs to know me and brings me into her life.
She uncorks the bottle containing all the dreams suppressed,
Out they pour to live again, creating feelings to express,
In songs and poems, in words and deeds all coming out so fast,
All my hopes for the future, as well as remembrances of my past.
