On June 7, 2025, during a street-corner meeting in Bhupalpally, Telangana, an altercation occurred between Congress and BRS workers. According to reports, a group of individuals associated with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) allegedly threw stones at Congress workers attending the event. In response, Congress activists reportedly pelted stones back at the BRS group, leading to minor injuries among several individuals, including a policeman and a few BRS workers. The police intervened to disperse the crowd and restore order.
