Описание: Media production group FluxOne20 were recently asked by charity MenCap to help convey the thoughts and feelings of their young adults who attend Mencap Hull Pathways for vital support and guidance .
Everything MENCAP do is about valuing and supporting people with a learning disability and their families and carers.
What started out as an idea to just capture the message through interviews, evolved into a documentary film starring some of the young adults.
We wanted an original sound track, so we asked for help from Steve Minns of Hull band Streaming Lights.
Steve wrote "Don't box me in" by using words and expressions from the MENCAP members, highlighting their frustrations of day to day life in society.
Flux120 were more than happy to sponsor a large part of the film in conjunction with local family run food group William Jacksons, Mencap Inspire Me, and music from Streaming Lights.
