Описание: Assistant professor Wassim Ghannoum, in the Cockrell School's Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering, studies structural dynamics and earthquake engineering. Ghannoum's research involves investigating the safety of buildings during extreme earthquakes by doing full-scale testing on the world's largest multi-directional shaking table, located in Japan. The shaking table is shown in this video.
