Tomorrow I’m running a 100 mile ultra. Less than 16 months ago I couldn’t run 3 miles. I went for a run to south beach and stopped half way.
Mentally I can say this prep has changed a lot of how I view life. This process of pushing through discomfort and finding peace in pain has gave me a way stronger sense of control over my surroundings. It puts you back in the drivers seat in life.
There’s a million things that could go wrong or right, and obviously finishing is never promised. But I’ve promised myself that I’m leaving with 0 regrets and leave everything I have out there.
We believe in God and God believes in us.
