Suzuki Bandit 1250 fuel pump problem fix (Quantum HFP-386)

Issues:
a) with a full tank, after like 1 hour in the sun, bike was not starting
-for some weird reason, opening and closing the tank cap was solving this issue
b) initially, in higher gears (4-5-6), at 100% throttle and over 7000RPM, bike was surging
c) after few thousand km, the issue described at b) was encountered also on lower gears (2-3) and very often when there was less than 1/3 of tank left.
First, i suggest you to clean the 2 filters of the pump assembly (4:11 and 6:15).
If the above doesnt work (for me it didnt), you should get and replace the fuel pump kit.
The new pump is noticeable quieter during priming and i havent encountered any of the issues so far.
