ENG- Bardhyli, a young doctor, is appointed to work in a remote mountain village. Upon his arrival there, a misunderstanding arises between him and the mayor. Over time, he learns that the mayor is trying to harm him by writing to a newspaper editor. This attitude is also shared by the parents of Liza, with whom he had been in love. Later, he helps the mayor's son, who is very sick. He successfully performs a difficult operation, despite the lack of the most basic tools to perform the operation. In the village, Bardhyli meets many new friends.

ALB- Bardhyli, një mjek i ri emërohet të punojë në një fshat të largët malor. Me vajtjen e tij atje, lind një keqkuptim midis tij dhe kryetarit të këshillit. Me kohë ai merë vesh se kyetari kërkonte ti bënte keq atij, duke i shkruajtur një redaksie gazetash. Qëndrim të tillë mbajnë edhe prindërit e Lizës, me të cilën kishte qene i dashuruar. Më pas ndihmon djalin e kryetarit, i cili është shumë i sëmurë. Ia delë mbanë me sukses gjatë një operacioni të vështirë, me gjithë mungesën e mjeteve më elementare për kryerjen e operacionit. Në fshat Bardhyli njihet me shumë shokë të rinj.
