Описание: On October 11, 2024, Upper Arlington Police Officer Shoemaker observed a vehicle travel over the marked dotted lines on the roadway. The vehicle was being driven by a 26-year-old woman. The police report indicates that Officer Shoemaker could smell alcohol coming from the vehicle. However, the woman initially denied consuming alcohol, but then admitted to drinking a glass of wine at her brother's house. She was asked to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which led to her being arrested for Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI). She was transported to the Upper Arlington Police Station, where she agreed to submit to a breath test. The result was 0.176% BAC, more than twice the legal limit.
