Mother in disbelief after daughter allegedly shot, killed by man she met online
Wendy Duan was shot and killed at her home in Sugar Land. A man she met on the "MeetMe" dating app has been arrested in connection to her death. Duan's mother said she warned her daughter about meeting someone online and she had a bad feeling about Thompson.
"She showed me the picture," Duan's mother said. "I don’t know his name. She just saying, 'Do you like him?' I said no."
