Описание: On Sunday, December 22, 2024, the World Mission Society Church of God in 2nd San Diego (Chula Vista) hosted a remarkable event, the Southwest Region (SWR) Orchestra Hope Concert, in celebration of the church’s 60th Anniversary and the 107th Birth Anniversary of Christ Ahnsahnghong. The evening brought together guests, VIPs, loved ones, and members of the Church of God throughout the southwest region of the U.S. for a night filled with soothing melodies and uplifting performances, inspiring hope for the new year.

Missionary Beau Francisco, overseer of the Church of God in 2nd San Diego, welcomed attendees with heartfelt opening remarks, setting the tone for the evening by encouraging everyone to work together for a better future and renew our perspectives through the musical performances. Master Chief Sheven Savoy of the U.S. Navy followed with words of gratitude and encouragement, commending the Church of God for organizing such an inspiring event and for its global impact over the past 60 years.

Guests were captivated by various acts including a graceful Korean fan dance called “Buchaechum,” a thrilling Taekwondo performance, and an ethereal light dance. Afterwards, the SWR choir and orchestra moved the hearts of the attendees through melodious songs, such as Joe Hisaishi’s Merry-Go-Round of Life, Shostakovich’s Waltz No. 2, Strauss’ Radetzky March, The Prayer, I Reminisce About Your Love, You Raise Me Up, Carnations of Thanks, God Who Loved Us Sinners, The Word Became Flesh, and Our Mother Saves the World.

The event celebrated the Church of God’s successful growth and societal contributions over the past 60 years, while also illuminating the path toward a bright and hopeful future. An array of attendees, including Silvia Lugo, Amber Jensen, and D’Andre Smith, expressed their admiration for the event’s performances and congratulatory remarks to the Church of God for reaching such a great milestone.
