Tobias Haque is a development professional and economist with extensive practical experience leading governance and economic reform programs and analytics. He currently serves as the World Bank’s Lead Country Economist for Pakistan, with responsibility for coordinating a large portfolio of economic, governance, and private sector programs. He has worked for the World Bank for more than a decade, spending time in a range of economist roles, based in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Washington DC, Sydney, and the Pacific islands.
